It's a bug fix with small improvements.
Users of version 2.1 do not have to migrate. Simply unpack the 2.1.1 over your existing installation. Others: read the migrate.txt's.

We choose S@S for our sourceforge-hoste site because S@S is one of the few CMS systems which will work on SourceForge with minimal changes(session_save_path() in the two index.php's), because it is rather "lightweight" and because the front-end can be customized rather well. Easy installation and maintenance is definetely a pro. We ARE coders, but we like to concentrate on our own code instead ;)

Hi All,
Thanks to the testers and users, version 2.1 is progressing steadily. Here are a couple of the new features:
- For small schools: One teacher can have multiple classes.
- A calendar module: multiple calendars on your site.
- A formsbuilder module: now you can make your own forms.
- Unlimited (nah... up to 99) pupilpages per pupil.
- Protected Area is now secured via Access Management', so whoever has access to page management does not necessarily have access to the page management of the protected area.
- One database for users, teachers and pupils, so pupils and teachers can be made users in one click.
- Teachers without a group can have access to the Protected Area.
- Teachers can also manage pupilpages from all the classes other than their own.
- Color to hexadecimal code converter in forum and calendar module.
- Many small improvements and bug fixes.

Fred managed to code us an INTRANET(!) for teachers inside S@S. Teachers can login and go to a protected area.
Very easy for schedules, reports of meetings, confidential stuff, etc.
And everything in this intranet can be made/edited online and worldwide by the teachers!
This is a big improvement in Site@School's useability.

For the new realease:
- Refined management: every part of the S@S system and every module can be separately managed. This great feature enlightens the task of the administrator. Management tasks can be shared amonng many people.
- All modules, with wich possible undesirable content can
be put on the site (guestbook, ads, forum), send email alerts to the one that is responable for that module,so easy and quick measures can be taken to remove content.
